and focus on math, reading, homework help and developmental skills with
hands on activities.Program runs from 3:00-5:30 Monday- Thursday

King's Club
Site based children's ministry for children ages 5-12 that meets every Saturday morning during the school year. Weekly volunteer training is held at 10 am at The Rock Children's Center (1525 West Ave.), followed by King's Clubs at various sites from 10:30am-12noon. Volunteers build relationships with children, teach bible stories, play together and have snacks. We meet in 8 different low-income neighborhoods throughout Waco.

Kid's Camp
Summer program for children ages 5-12. Program meets Monday-Thursday, 9:30a - 12:30pm at The Rock Children's Center (1525 West Ave.) Activities include Bible studies, art projects, games, songs, and field trips to museums, swimming pools, the zoo and others.

Street Camp
Held during the summer in different low-income neigborhoods throughout Waco. Street Camp is held Monday through Wednesday 3:30-5:30 and is staffed by summer interns and different youth mission groups (see info on workgroups) that volunteer with Mission Waco during the summer.

Volunteers Needed
Intermediate Commitment: Saturdays, 9am-12noon; King's Club; consistency is a plus!
Long Term Commitment: Mon-Thurs 3:00-5:00 Math, Phonics, Reading
Kids Cafe: Mon thru Thurs, 4-6pm, Help prepare the meals that feed the kids in the program; Contact Shannon Williams for more information.
