“Dead Church Walking: Giving Life to the Church That is Dying to Survive”
The renewal of the church for mission is my personal passion. I continue to believe God’s primary transforming work is best revealed by the people of God living out the kingdom as the Body of Christ in local fellowships in every community. Yet the Western church is in trouble in a growing postmodern age and significant numbers of American congregations are closing their doors or fighting to sustain their corporate life. “Dead Church Walking: Giving Life to the Church That is Dying to Survive” (Biblica Publishers) was released at the “No Need Among You” Conference, held at Crestview Center, 7921 Delhi, Waco, TX, when church and ministry leaders gather from around the State to explore ways to empower their own communities with the whole gospel to the whole community. The book is both prophetic and practical and offers a message of hope to struggling congregations. I hope you will consider reading and promoting this small effort that calls churches to be the light and salt of good news in their city.
